In 2020, I bought small home in SW Portland, built in 1980. I did an extensive interior remodel at the time, but didn't do much structurally, as the building inspection had no big red flags. The attached garage had no insulation of any kind, and would get very cold in winer, and VERY hot in summer (southern exposure). This really mattered to me, as my garage doubles as my laundry room and work out room! I contacted HomeRx (after seeing tons of favorable reviews). Aaron came out to give me an estimate. There were some tricky things to work around in the garage. While he was there, he offered to take a look in my attic as well. Of course, he was trying to get additional business, but as it turns out, my attic insulation was far from ideal. He came back with a proposal for the garage that worked around all the quirkiness, and a proposal for the attic that included energy incentives to take a big chunk off the estimate. I decided to go ahead with both projects. Scheduling was about 2 weeks out. Christian and Edwin showed up on time and got started right away. The attic took about a day, and the garage another. The crew was professional, polite and competent. They did a great job cleaning up after what is very messy work. The first night with my new attic insulation, my heat never kicked on, even though the outside temperature got down to 48 degrees. Same thing the second night. And despite a chilly night, and a warm sunny day today, my garage is basically "room temperature." Of course I'm pleased to be saving energy and saving money, but I'm also thrilled with the new level of "livability" for my garage. I definitely recommend HomeRx for your insulation needs!

Timely on everything - from coming to do the bid to install, which I really appreciate! One of the only companies I found in the valley willing to do flash and batt (thinner layer of spray foam with batting insulation on top) which turned out amazing. I couldn’t be happier with Home RX. My main contact was Omar. He was out on a Thursday the same day I called to do an Estimate. It worked out great because they started the following Monday. The crew was on time every day and had the job site cleaned up completely. Bryan and his crew were at our house in December of 2025. We were in a hurry to get insulation installed before 12/31 to qualify for tax credits. They squeezed us in and made it work. The work was done extremely well. They even tried to mitigate signs of a leak until we could replace the roof. We didn’t get the roof replaced until April. Unfortunately a leak did happen before that but their work minimized the impact. Bryan came out to check insulation after the roof repair to investigate at no cost to us. Gave us the all clear, no insulation replacement was needed. The extra work they did, at no cost to us, protected the insulation they had installed. They didn’t have to do this but went the extra mile. Have already recommended HomeRx to multiple friends. Thinking about doing some renovations to our home built in 1950. If we do, we already know we will call HomeRx for that work.

Just had a team come out over a two day period to change what appeared to be original insulation in the attic. It was pretty pathetic up there. Very pleased with the fantasic job, from quote by Aaron, who really took his time and showed us some faults we weren't aware of, to the actual work done by the two teams. My apologies, we didnt catch the names of the two guys on day one, who did an immaculate removal, but day two team was all of the install work, which was Efren and Saul. It was NOT a fast, fly by job. They were extremely thorough and were here all day. Highly recommend this company for insulation needs. Job well done!

I was so pleased with every step of my insulation install. For the bid only HomeRX put on a cover suit and went under the house. Then the removal was thorough and the clean up immaculate. The install was neat and complete and all vents were protected. And it was all done in very short order! It earned me a good energy rebate and has reduced my monthly bill.

Great service at a reasonable price.

We had just installed solar panels on our 50 year old home and noted the several inches of existing insulation was matted and pushed around. We contracted HomeRx Insulation to blow in 15+ inches of insulation this summer. When winter came we turn heat off at night and the house only cools several degrees, very slowly.
